Fall Arrest Awareness

Course Format – ½ Day
The course format will be lecture style, allowing students to give feedback and participate. Proper use and inspection of
harnesses and equipment will be shown to the students. Maximum number of participants per session – 15.

Course Objectives
The goal of this course is to ensure students:
• Know why it is important to have a fall protection procedure in place.
• What the key components are of a fall protection system.
• What the procedures are for the inspection, storage and maintenance of the fall protection equipment.
• The general method of using fall protection equipment.
• Applying the knowledge in the field.
